What is the working principle of the End suction surface pump? For ordinary centrifugal pumps, if the suction liquid level is below the impeller, it should be filled with water before starting, which is very inconvenient. In order to store water in the pump, a bottom valve must be installed at the inlet of the suction pipe. When the pump is working, the bottom valve causes a great hydraulic loss.

The so-called End suction surface pump does not need to be filled with water before starting (it still needs to be filled for the first start after installation). After a short period of operation, the pump itself can suck up the water and put it into normal operation. End suction surface pump is divided into the following categories according to the principle of action:
1. Gas-liquid mixing (including internal mixing and external mixing);
2. Water ring wheel type;
3. Jet type (including liquid jet and gas jet).
The working process of the gas-liquid end suction surface pump: Due to the special structure of the end suction surface pump, after the pump stops, there is a certain amount of water in the pump body. After the pump is restarted, the air in the pipeline is sucked due to the rotation of the impeller. It is fully mixed with water and discharged to the gas-water separation chamber. The gas in the upper part of the gas-water separation chamber overflows, and the water in the lower part returns to the impeller and remixes with the remaining air in the suction pipe until all the gas in the pump and suction pipe is discharged. Complete self-priming and pump water normally. The water ring wheel type End suction surface pump combines the water ring wheel and the water pump impeller in a shell, and uses the water ring wheel to discharge the gas to realize self-suction. When the pump is working normally, the channel of the water ring wheel and the water pump impeller can be blocked by the valve, and the liquid in the water ring wheel can be discharged. The jet end suction surface pump is a combination of a centrifugal pump and a jet pump (or ejector). It relies on a jet device to create a vacuum at the nozzle to achieve suction.
